The long wait is finally over! Rugby returned to the Rock 🇬🇮 yesterday as Week One of the u-mee GRC 10’s got underway.
Week One saw Ibex Buccaneers take on DHL Europa Stormers & Sovereign Rock Scorpions face In-Line Framing Straits Sharks in the new ‘Return 2 Rugby’ Touch 10’s format.
Both games provided plenty of entertainment, with everyone involved just happy to finally be back on the pitch, playing & enjoying the game they have all missed.
The first fixture saw last seasons GRC runners up DHL Europa Stormers beat last seasons GRC Champions Ibex Buccaneers, with a Full-Time score of 20 – 45.
Sovereign Rock Scorpions then faced In-Line Framing Straits Sharks where Scorpions put on a confident display, coming out as eventual victors, Full-Time score 65 – 10.
